Lecturer of Department of Nursing in the “Albanian University”, Dr.Svetlana Bitincka, with a 20-year experience in Mother Teresa Hospital University Centre (QSUT) at the ward of infectious diseases, held an open lecture for students of Bachelor and Professional Master in Surgical Surgery study programs, part of the Nursing Department.
In her presentation, using an historic approach, Dr. Svetlana Bitincka focused on development in the course of time of infections control, concept of quarantine and origin of viruses, which have caused modern times pandemics, in particular Covid-19. Subject competence and actuality of the topic attracted maximal interest among students.
