Albanian University has approved its Gender Equality Strategy 2026–2030. The Strategy rests on a simple conviction: a university is only as strong as it is fair. Gender equality is not a compliance exercise. It is a question of social justice, and it extends to all grounds on which people face disadvantage: disability, ethnicity, economic background, sexual orientation, and migration status. Implementation covers four areas: governance, decision-making, research careers, and institutional culture. An Action Plan with measurable indicators and assigned responsibilities follows. Progress will be reported annually, starting with a baseline assessment in September 2026.
