From April 27 to May 1, 2026, Albanian University had the pleasure of hosting an important academic visit from representatives of Private University College of Teacher Education of Christian Churches Austria, further strengthening the institution’s international dimension and collaborations in higher education.
The guests, Prof. Mag. Thomas Schrei and PhD. Isabella Benischek, carried out a series of enriching academic and professional activities, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue, reflection, and exchange of experiences:
· Meetings with university leadership and academic staff, focusing on institutional development and international cooperation
· Lecture sessions on research ethics and inclusive education
· Interactive activities and open discussions with students who have participated in Erasmus+ mobility programs
· An educational visit to the special school “Luigj Gurakuqi,” bringing a practical dimension to the academic exchange
During this week, the importance of integrating theory with practice was emphasized, as well as the role of international partnerships in enhancing the quality of teaching and scientific research.
This visit represents an important step in strengthening academic partnerships and creating new opportunities for students and staff, fostering innovation and sustainable development in education.
