On Wednesday, 22.04.2026, the Rector of Albanian University, Prof. Julian Fink, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Valbona Loshi, and the Head of the Department of Education and English, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Gilberta Hadaj, participated in the International Symposium ETEN 2026, held in Vlora.
The event was organized at the premises of the University “Ismail Qemali” and included the ETEN General Assembly, ECO & TIG leadership meetings, as well as the official opening ceremony of the symposium, bringing together academics and education experts from various international institutions.
The discussions held during the symposium focused on current developments in higher education, innovation in teacher education, and the strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation at European and broader international level. Participants exchanged experiences and best practices related to improving the quality of teaching and enhancing the effectiveness of teacher education programmes.
