As part of the course “Financial Institutions and EU Policies”, an open lecture was held with Prof. Todor Arpad

As part of the course “Financial Institutions and EU Policies,” the Department of Economic Sciences had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Todor Arpad, Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor at the Faculty of Political Science within the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA).

During this highly engaging and interactive lecture, students gained deeper insights into taxation policies in the European Union, as well as the challenges faced by new countries aspiring to join or integrate into the EU.

The discussions focused on fiscal harmonization, the balance between national and European policies, and the impact of fiscal reforms on economic development and financial stability.

This activity served as an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas and enhancing knowledge on European integration processes.

We thank Prof. Todor Arpad for his valuable contribution and for inspiring our students!
