On the occasion of the “UCU Staff Week in Wroclaw 2025,” we would like to express our sincere gratitude to “UCU” for their excellent organization and warm hospitality. Albanian University was proudly represented by Prof. Dr. Julian Fink, (elected) Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Erda Qorri, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Dr. Eglantina Merkaj, head of the International Quality Assurance and MSc Fiona Nishani, Erasmus Coordinator for the Faculty of Medical Sciences. This event was a valuable opportunity for experience exchange and establishing new partnerships with institutions from European Union.
Throughout the week, we explored several insightful topics on internationalization, COIL, partnership strategies, and the integration of Service Learning into the curriculum many of which we look forward to implementing at our university. Beyond the training sessions, we also enjoyed discovering the beautiful city of Wroclaw, which left a truly lasting impression. Thank you, UCU, for your inspiring collaboration and support!
This activity represented an important step toward consolidating our role on the European academic map, going beyond mere information-sharing, and creating real spaces for collaboration.
It confirmed that internationalization is no longer just an aspiration, but a tangible and actionable necessity.
