
From May 26 to June 1, two lecturers from Albanian University participated in the Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Week program at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest, Romania.
Dritan Taulla, from the Department of General Psychology, delivered several lectures on Moral Foundations Theory – a psychological theory that seeks to explain the intuitive basis of moral judgments and how these shape social attitudes and behaviours. His lectures focused particularly on how intuitive moral reasoning influences political preferences and affects individuals’ voting behaviour.
In addition, Prof. Mirgen Prençe, from the Department of Legal and Political-Administrative Sciences, gave a public lecture on the topic “Justice Reform in Albania”, where he addressed the challenges, achievements, and impact of the reform on the Albanian judicial system, as well as its significance in the country’s European integration process.
