On 12 December 2025, the Department of Education and English organized the event “Meeting with the Writer Virgjil Muçi”, under the guidance of Dr. Esmeralda Strori. The activity was held within the framework of the course Children’s Literature and involved students from the study programs Primary Education Teacher and Preschool Education Teacher.
At the heart of the meeting was the author’s Cycle of Fairy Tales, a body of work well known for its originality, rich language, distinctive style, and creative reworking of folk tradition. During the discussion, the writer shared with the students the importance of this literature in the literary and linguistic development of the reader.
The meeting highlighted the special value of Children’s Literature in the education and aesthetic sensitivity of young readers, as well as in the cultural formation of adult readers.
