Albanian University had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Leena Mattila, International Coordinator at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, during her official visit from May 19–23, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Her visit aimed to strengthen academic and institutional cooperation between the universities, creating new opportunities for collaboration in the future.
Ms. Mattila’s visit included meetings with the university’s senior leadership team, such as the Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans, and the Office for Internal Quality Assurance Unit. Her visit also included several academic activities, such as a student conference and open lectures with the Department of Pharmacy, and meetings with the staff and students of the Department of Engineering.
As part of the Erasmus+ program, Mrs. Mattila also held discussions with students and academic staff, exchanging ideas and perspectives on future cooperation and exchanges in the field of scientific research. Her visit was also enriched with a cultural activity in the cities of Tirana and Durrës, organized by the Erasmus Office.
We want to thank Mrs. Mattila for her visit, for the fruitful contributions and engagement in deepening the partnership between Albanian University and the University of Jyväskylä, with hope for new projects in the future.
